Schauman Hall

Schauman Hall is a high-quality concert hall in the heart of Campus Allegro in Jakobstad, Finland. Campus Allegro offers spaces for many kinds of events, exhibits, concerts, conferences, and celebrations.

The orchestra pit accommodates around 30 musicians, and the concert hall seats 361-405. The modern technology in the hall is state of the art and enables both musicals and operas to be performed using the orchestra pit. The variable acoustics can be altered for rhythm music.

Schauman Hall is directly connected to a recording studio, which creates a possibility for high quality live recordings.

Yrkeshögskolan Novia

Campus Allegro with its 700 students, is located in the heart of the town of Jakobstad. In Jakobstad you can achieve the following degrees in English: Bachelor of Culture and Arts, Fine Arts, Master of Culture and Arts. The educational unit also offers degrees in Swedish that include photography, graphic design, fine arts, music, performing arts and interior design. Jakobstad is the home of 300 of Novia´s 4000 students, and around 30 staff members of the total staff of 400 work here.
